Reach the top of Vesuvius by traveling aboard the comfortable Vesuvio Express, a shuttle service to Vesuvius with departure and return to Herculaneum.
Show your smartphone ticket to the staff at the Vesuvio Express office to get a paper voucher before getting on the bus. You will be also able to select the available departure time with the staff, the departure is selected according to the time of the entrance ticket.
Please arrive 15 minutes before your preferred departure time.
Buses run every hour. There is luggage storage available onsite.
After your visit, you can hop on the Vesuvio Express bus back to Herculaneum where you hopped off, at Piazzale Gran Cono
