Remember to wear comfortable shoes, the streets of Pompeii are not suitable for walks in high heels. Bring a snack with you or take advantage of one of the pizzerias near the archaeological area. An "onion" clothing would be ideal, the archaeological area of Pompeii is very hot especially in the summer while, climbing over 1000 meters of Vesuvius, the air could be much cooler.
